hi, this is my new blog, lately i try to use wordpress for some time, but i don’t have time to manage themes, widget, pages blah blah blah….
to say, i dont have brain about HTML, java, API gagagagag
okay, let’s start. (ภาษาอังกฤษง่อยนะจ๊ะ)
Roast Coffee & Eatery
Location : Seenspace, Thonglor soi 13, Bangkok
Opening hours : 10AM – 9PM, everyday
Website : http://www.roastbkk.com
they offer the New american food style, freshly brew coffee from the big Roasted machine.
food was around 180-400++
I ordered 2 signature brunch menus and 1 coffee. i asked the waiter to serve me one by one.
uhh, where is salt & pepper?
the first one came, it took about 10-15 mins
Creme Spinach Omelette 200 baht, looks good? : )
the texture was nice, soft, cream typed – like the basic french omelette.
The dish topped with sauteed spinach and grated cheese but they didn’t stuff spinach in the omelette.
Sides were tomato and sauteed mushroom : tomato was just ok, but i liked mushroom, salty, full flavor.
when i finished the first one, the 2nd came.
Crab cake benedict 350 baht
the bottom was crab cake then egg benedict, topped with Hollandaise sauce.
the sauce was thick and creamy, not too vinegary. For me, i don’t know what is the best flavor for Hollandaise sauce but i like it to be a bit salty, mid-thick cream and a little sour. :3
I was very full after finished the 2nd dish, but i have 1 coffee left ;(
Mocha 120 baht
I expected this cup to come with a better latte art but this is just ok, normal taste. the coffee was good though.
Bills : 780 baht.
For me, this restaurant has a good atmosphere. The customers are 80% foreigner. The price’s a bit high for each dish, which i think that is the land cost.
Anyway i think they’re best for sipping coffee in the late afternoon. (although their food was nice but i cant afford. haaa too bad)
